Crown Lengthening

Crown lengthening is a cosmetic procedure where excessive gum and bone tissue are reshaped to expose more of the teeth. It can be performed around a single tooth, to even the gum line, or several, transforming a once self-conscious smile into a proud one.

Crown lengthening can also serve as a precursor to a restorative dental treatment. When a tooth is decayed, broken below the gum line, or there’s an insufficient amount of it to perform a crown or a bridge, crown lengthening is conducted first, enabling the necessary correction.
